Boxing Day at Peter & Linda's home, Stratton, a suburb of
Perth, Western Australia. The tradition in the Jefferies family is to all meet
together on Boxing Day, as most of us visit the in-laws or friends on Christmas
day. We take turns in who will be the host family, and we all contribute to the
meal. Of course, Christmas falls at the beginning of summer in Australia, so it
is usually very hot. 2007 was the hottest Boxing Day on record at 44c.
